This plot is based upon the manga and anime series called Fruits Basket. You need to know some stuff about Fruits Basket to actually role play.
As long as you know a little about the characters...then your fine. Just go along with what you know.
Here is a recap of Fruits Basket...
Tohru Honda's mother dies in a car accident and she ends up alone in the woods with a tent. She happens to come across a house near her tent and meets the Sohmas. She moves in with Yuki, Shigure, and Kyo only to realize that every time she hugs one of them...they change into different animals of the zodiac.
She strives to learn about the Sohma curse and meet new people from the zodiac.
